What a wonderful cafe. It was busy but expected during the Christmas period. They also did explain there would be a wait. The coffee was tasty fresh and lovely. The cheese and red onion toastie was the best ever. Thick brown poppy seed slices, loads of cheese and onion, absolutely gorgeous. The service was fun and friendly, busy inside and outside but everyone prepared to wait which says it all. Definitely recommend.

A great few hours to spend with the children learning about this fantastic building through the ages. It cost us £20 for a family ticket of 4 which we felt was quiet reasonable. Our 12 year old enjoyed it, but our 5 year old lost interest. It involves a lot of reading the info which our little one got a bit bored of. But we still enjoyed our time there! We also found the staff very friendly 🙂

Visited the cafe just after Christmas. It was open and very busy which was a good sign. It was a short wait but worth it for the fabulous coffee and best onion and cheese toastie I have ever had. Thick fresh brown bread, loads of filling, perfect. The service was very friendly and I will definitely make a point of visiting when I am back in the city.

A little gem in the centre of Worcester. Before the tour, had a nice cream tea in the gardens (£5.50). Steve took us on the tour and his knowledge was excellent. Tour took about 1 hour. Well worth a visit even if you’re not doing the tour and just stopping for a drink, nicer surroundings to sit and relax than the usual coffee chains.

Greyfriars is a timber framed house in the heart of Worcester. Via a pre booked tour you can investigate this warren of family living, crossing the centuries, or sit in the tea room or garden, and enjoy a few moments of quiet reflection (even though the garden wall backs on to the busy ring road, you would never know.) The staff are friendly and well informed on the house, if you are in the city a visit is recommended, even more so if you have time to enjoy a cream tea.

Amazing guided tour of this beautiful house and garden. It’s not what it seems and our knowledgeable guide Joe gave a comprehensive history lesson- and shared some great stories about the people who had created the house you see today. People can access the garden and cafe without charge at the moment.
